Field Trip Fun!

Yes, I stopped posting for two days. But it wasn't MY fault. It was the internet connection's fault. We lost our WIFI connection on the 11th of January. I was even talking to my friend, Arali, on Facebook when we suddenly lost connection.

So, not much has happened those past two days. Though something HAS happened yesterday (January 13, 2014)! We had our super duper fun field trip! It was a heart-stopping, motivational field trip. Made my heart pump to the fullest of the full!

So, I woke up at almost 3'o clock in the morning. Or a little later than that because I was super duper excited! So, I got dressed for the field trip and woke my parents up because dad's driving me to school. Dad realized that it was a little TOO early for me to go so soon and that I might have no other people to be with when I arrive so we waited and distracted ourselves so that I couldn't leave yet.

At 5 AM, I told my parents that I had to go now because the bus might leave me and I wouldn't have been able to join in all the fun-filled activities we'd happen to do. So we went off. When I arrived at school, the buses we'd be going to ride on were ALL EMPTY. I thought that I was the first one to arrive even though Dianne told me through text that there were a lot of people already. So, I decided to snag a look inside the school gate. And there they all were. The sun was still not rising so I had to deal with the darkness of the surroundings and that I couldn't see people's faces because my vision in the dark was a blur. I could only see the people with their cell phones in front of their faces because the light from their phones were shining in front of their faces. Rovic suddenly appeared in front of me that I hardly noticed. I was asking him if he's seen Dianne or Chesca or any other person I could have contact with at that time. He said, he's seen Dianne and I told him to lead me to her because my eyesight wasn't that very good at the moment.

When I suddenly found Dianne, we were like running into each other, so excited to be able to join in this trip. She was wearing a blue jacket and tied her hair up with pigtails. I had to admit, I was a little regretful because I didn't bring a jacket on with me too. Because during that morning, IT WAS FREAKING COLD. Though I got the hang of it later on. Not soon enough, Dianne told me that HE was going to pass by though I was still searching for HIM before he could pass in front of me. And when he had already passed, I was like, "Oh god". He was wearing a grey vest. The grey vest he wore was actually almost the same as the vest he wore last year during their field trip (as seen from his pictures on Facebook when I just so happened to go by them in my News Feed). And the grey vest was also important to the fact that I could easily spot him during the field trip--Not that I would use it as a trademark anyways.

Later on, we were called to go to our bus as well. Dianne and I were seated together. And we took the middle-part seats. During the going to the field trip, I was seated near the window which was really fun considering that I had the seat wherein I could pull in a curtain to cover myself and use it as a VERY thin pillow when I lean on it to sleep. I was texting with random people such as Arali, Paloma and Rovic considering that they were in a different bus and that they are also in different grade levels with us. Not a minute later, I decided to take a picture of the whole St. Scholastica in the bus. And Ytem had the same plan too so I decided to put him in charge of my camera for me. He took pictures of us and soon, we were off. I slept almost half of the trip and was very glad that we arrived there in a short span of time.

We were all so excited that we already climbed up the flight of stairs before we arrived in the main function hall. And when we got there, we had our bags in a designated counter and we were waiting for the others to arrive. After a short orientation, they told us that we had 10 minutes to get ready and roam around and do whatever we want before all our activities would start.

During those 10 minutes, we took pictures of each other and tried some of the obstacles. And I also tried finding HIM but when I did find him, my shyness level was on Lvl10000000 that I only glanced at him as often as I possibly could because I was COMPLETELY not me when he was around. I assumed I looked like a total fool trying to look at him but not trying to get caught. And after a few minutes, we were told to go back to the function hall and we were guided by our tour guides. Our tour guide was Kuya Vhern Cee. He told us that he was a professional dancer and rapper. He was also very nice to us.

And so begins our activities. First, we had our Cargo Jump(?) or something similar to that. I couldn't reach the top of it so it was a total epic fail for me. Guess I'm too heavy. Aww. We were competing with St. Rose then. It was fun! Next up, we went Rappelling. BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. It was so fun trying to get down a 45 feet tower by elevating yourself downwards. After, we did the Synchronize Walking which involved four members per two pairs of walking stick (or whatever you call it). Luckily, we won! Team 'Pa' won! (We have two teams, by the way. Team Pa & Team Chu. Altogether, we were Team ChuPa/PaChu. Disturbing yet funny.) Then, we had our lunch by that time. I ate my lunch. And after, we did a little walking. Soon enough, we were asked to form our lines again for the next activity, in which all of us were weakened and a bit bored. I was even sleepy then. My classmates fed come carabaos and we took a look at their vegetable plantation. Then, we played Shoot the Ball. We were asked to form a 'U' in front of a short basketball ring. Our opponent this time was St. Joan. First section to earn 5 points wins. I'm not going to explain it anymore. All that matters was we WON again! We were so super duper tired. And what caused me to feel so alive again was the fact that we were going to do Zipline next. Woopeeeeeee! Me and Dianne went together (well, almost together. I kind of went first a little bit but we were almost together). I screamed at the top of my lungs when I got to release from the tower because at first, kuya at the top of the tower told me to let go. I let go but I didn't know what kind of letting go was I supposed to do. So I was like, "How come it's not working?" and in the middle of that, I raised my feet and I got released so fast. I just screamed and screamed and screamed until it was already done. Afterwards, we did a team building activity called Toxic River. We only needed 24 participants so I didn't participate anymore 'cause I got really sleepy and tired after the zipline. And while they were setting up, Aubrey saw what I saw. HIM with two of his friends coming closer. HE already took his vest off and I was assuming that they were going to change. The restroom was near the place where we were doing the activity so I was like, "Oh my god. What am I supposed to do?" Then, Aubrey was like pulling me near and telling me to call him though I was shy. Later on, they came out of the restroom again and I assumed that they were going to change in some other place because the doors in the cubicles weren't able to get closed. I followed him with my eyes as he walked away. Anyways, after the Toxic River, we still had one last activity to do. The last activity we did was the Hanging Bridge. It was actually the first thing St. Peregrine did when we were still doing the Cargo. I even saw Rovic pass through it and that he was almost close to sitting down when he was walking there. I really had a strong feeling he was scared to walk across it. And I realized why. When I went up there with Sophia and Pamela Pampi, I got the serious case of fright!! I was really sure when I stepped on those bars, the next day, everybody would attend my funeral. When it was our turn to see who's turn it was, Pamela and I hesitated and decided that we should just skip this activity because it wouldn't be a money-loss because we paid P950 for the whole trip and we tried the other activities. Just not this one. So, we went down without doing the act of crossing the bridge. Just NO WAY, DUDE! Before I forget, we also did this Inverse Traverse which is not much a pretty big deal. You just gotta carry your weight back to the plain.

So there. Mehehe!
