'Peered' Group Presentation (Shooting)

This picture (or should I say, TV show) is from ABSCBN. We are currently going to make our own version of this show for our group presentation. In other words, we're going to work our butts off for a back-to-school pre-sentation. Our topic is about entrepreneurship. I don't know if I'm the leader of our group but it seems like it because I'm doing most of the work. But what's good with my group is that I'm grouped with my peers (friends). So it means, I can easily make them do their roles without any complains.

Since we're already talking about group presentations, I would like to share few of my experiences that you guys might also have experienced before. If I could say so myself, I'm the 'only egg that has hatched among the ones in the nest'. In other words, I'm usually the only one who has a working coconut shell in a 'Teacher's Choice Group', especially when I was in Grade 7.

I was the leader. But I was also their slave. I was the one who was doing all the work and all the hard stuff while they're just chilling around hoping that they would graduate even if they were depending on others' works. And sometimes, I'm not the leader. But our leader is so irresponsible that I have no choice but to take over since I know what to do when life's in crisis with a useless leader. I never felt like 'just a member' until I reached today. Grade 8. I felt great relief when I realized that I had the 'almost' best section ever. My classmates were so nice and so cooperative that they could handle things even without me. I just hope that next year would be the same. Zzz.

Anyways, if you're the leader in a certain group of different people and don't know how in the world would you handle them or take over them when they're such a big mess, here are the kinds of leaders you should be or might want to be after you've read it. There are also some leaders that I've posted that seem to be describing bad influence leaders.. So, don't try and copy those kind of leaders! Here it goes:

The Goody Two Shoes Leader
You are the 'easy-going' one that goes with the flow. You are also that one person that would cheer everyone up and keep on motivating your group mates to do their best BUT also HAVE FUN on the project and/or presentation.

The Strict Leader
'No time for fun!' is the motto of this leader. You must be determined to have a PERFECT presentation and you would never take 'No' for an answer during practices after class. You will also learn to know who the enemies are and know who are your targets. You discipline your group mates and stop the WHOLE PRACTICE because one person is doing his/her role very wrongly. You correct that person and take very close attention on his/her performance during practice.

The Criticizer
You may also call yourself as 'the-person-who-hurts-others-feelings-and-makes-them-cry-just-to-get-their-heads-straight' kind of leader. You tell people directly into their veins what's wrong with them without any doubts. You hurt people so that you can get into their minds the things you want them to realize. You're also the kind of person that is just like 'The Strict Leader' but waaaay much more strict and abusive.

Procrastinator
You say you'll do it. You say that you know exactly what to do. In the end, you did nothing and depend on somebody else for your presentation. When the last minute comes, then is the time you'll wake up yourself and fix everything the way it should be.

'Do it and I'll watch' Leader
You give ALL the work to your members and you just watch there, or even leave your group mates to do their work ALONE, and let them do what they're supposed to do. Who cares?! --You'd say.

And there are plenty other leaders that are too many more to identify. So, which one are you? Well, whatever leader you are, you must always remember that for you to be a leader, you must first learn how to be a follower. But when the time comes that you're already the leader, don't act like the follower!
