Kung Hei Fat Choi! (Post-Greeting)
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Yesterday, we went to SM North EDSA on the exact day of Chinese New Year. The mall was crawling with little pests (as I like to call annoying people. Mehehe!). But before the actual (annual) celebration in the mall started, I stopped by Fully Booked and browsed a few books. Could you believe that they were having books on sale for the price of P50-P100?! I didn't know Fully Booked did that! Anyways, after a little browsing, I found the most amazing book that I've been aching to find since morning when I saw it on Facebook:
MAN! I'm so mad about books that I need to find a new hobby. Books are wasting my money (but they're WORTH my money for a new adventure anyways). I just feel so lucky yesterday that I found it! It was as if fate had smacked this book on my face on the exact day as Chinese New Year.
To continue, we roamed around a little bit after we ate at The Flavors of China. And we saw what we were about to expect during Chinese New Year at these time of the days. We saw the long dragon carried by the employees of SM and the single dragon that takes the ompaos from the stores in the mall:
My mom took these pictures since she was interested in these types of traditions (even though we're not Chinese). And after, we went to the ground floor of the mall where you can see your horoscope throughout the year. I saw mine and I could probably believe it but I might as well not. My horoscope told me that this year will be filled with a few misunderstandings but there will be this amazing opportunity awaiting for me. My lucky months for love are during April to June. This year is also a great year to travel for me and to reunite with old friends. By the way, I'm in the year of the dragon. Coincidence?
That's all I have to say for this post, actually.
Since I'm not really much of a "Chinese New Year" fan.
Kung Hei Fat Choi, Everyone! :)
