Pancake House and a Book
(Late post: August 1, 2015)
What better way to start breakfast than to read a good book at a good pancake restaurant somewhere away from home? New environment to start a new day. And new foods to start the new month with. Journey with me as I taste the flavors of Pancake House, Lucky Chinatown Mall on the new month of August 2015.
The logo. Pancake House. Makes sense. I'm going with this...
First off is the main attraction of this place--the ever-so-famous FLAP JACKS! Or more commonly called as pancakes. These beauties were served with white butter and maple syrup. The almost perfect pancake. Same goes with the taste--it's great.
These are normal fries. I need not to explain how they taste or what they are made of. We all know these common fries that's plainly salted.
What is this, you may ask? This is absolutely the most scrumptious mashed potato I've ever tasted my whole life. Literally mashed potatoes covered in flavorful gravy. Yum!
This was my mom and dad's order. Potato salad... Also, mashed. It tastes decent. It's the first time I've craved for more from a salad.
The common sandwich made to total perfection together with the ever Italian spaghetti--such a treat, eh?
But of course, when there's Italian food, there's also Mexican! Mom craved for tacos after she saw the group of men in business suits from across the restaurant eating them. They seemed scrumptious and delectable... And I wasn't mistaken. The tacos were moi delicioso!
