Miracle of Matrimony

This is the first wedding we attended this 2016. And it was a magical one. You may think that it's too early or too late to get married for some people but I say that love can never be too late or too early... Because love always comes at the right time with the right people. Cupid may arrow on wrong people but God always makes it right.

Call it destiny or whichever else but I think God planned them to be with each other. And it's amazing how God plans so nicely and perfectly. No other person could have been with each other better than the people God planned to.

Goosebumps crept over my whole body as we witnessed the wedding vows of Tita Dory and Tito Antonio. Like the old vow, "Til death do us part", the sacred matrimony is (as every priest during their homily says when there's a wedding) the union of man and woman as they become one. And this miracle is about one of the best miracles in this world. Being able to share your life with someone else. Having someone to love you for who you are and love you whole, not just by a part of yourself. It's wondrous yet haunting.

Not every marriage will be perfect but with God, why not?

And besides the wedding, the venue for the wedding reception is completely flabbergasting. I was blown away with the vintage-ness of Casa Manila within the streets of Intramuros. Here are a few photos of the place: (taken by me)

You could really feel the vintage vibe in this place. Honestly, if you smell the place closer, (I know, a bit weird but yeah, even if you didn't come close to the wall and sniff it, you could still smell it otherwise) the place smelled old and ancient.

All in all, this first wedding attendance of 2016, including the reception, was amazing.
