Pueblo de Tambobong

Within the small streets of Malabon lies within it this small little work of wonder. My father knew about this through Facebook because his former co-worker ate at this place. He went searching for it until we finally found it.

This restaurant is like one of those vintage eateries in Vigan. If you want a little piece of Vigan without going too far away, why not go here? This place is also a perfect spot for dating and getting to know each other more. Don't be threatened by this place just yet for this bar doesn't have any WIFI at all and they have no plans of putting up WIFI now or any day in the future. We talked to the manager while he showed us their "soon-to-be" facility rooms and he told us exactly that--there is no WIFI, nor there will ever be.

You think having no WIFI in this place is a bad idea... But for me? It's actually fantastic. The manager reasoned out that the purpose of no WIFI was for people in the now going back to the simple pleasures of life, starting with actually talking to each other and not being bothered by searching online or chatting with other people other than the actual person in front of you.

They even put up these quotes about conversations all over the place and it seemed to capture my attention from the first step I had coming in the resto. Here are some of the quotes posted up:

And because I was utterly starving, I was not able to take photos of the cuisine they had to offer. (This was after the procession and the mass we attended so forgive me for being so utterly empty-stomached.) But I have to say that the cuisine they had to offer was worth it. The place may seem like a bar hang out but the cuisine was more of a high class food service. The place even seems tranquil and serene that you can relax with your friends and just have a cool drink or two.

This place is also a nice spot for when you want to hang out with your friends but you're left with your children to handle with. The place has a hidden spot where the kids can play just through the bathroom (and their little living room set inside the bathroom space). I wasn't able to take a photo of it though and it was a little messy since there were toys all over the floor.

To add up, this resto bar also plans on accepting donations of old antics for their vintage function halls. If you'd like to donate, they'd be happy to talk it over with a cup of coffee. And so far, they also have old stuff in it which are some of the following:

To add up all this vintage wonder is the outside spot of it where people can hang out and have a drink or two. The soothing acoustic music being played outside of this resto bar really relaxes you and puts you in the mood for a short talk or two with a friend you're most close to.

I for one enjoy the vibrancy of the outside of the resto bar because it seems so amazing and bedazzling. The place is just so perfect for small and even deep conversations throughout the night (before 11pm, because that's their closing time).

And the one thing I figured out when we ate here? That the owners are Jamers of Class '90!

To wrap up the whole night, we had a short pictorial in the vacant space. We also got to chat the manager a few times over before we actually left. And of course, my parents took the opportunity and took photos of the place to advertise it as well. And I wouldn't blame them if they took me here again with a few of our friends since I'd be happy to be back here any time soon. :)
